Nintendo is usually shy about sharing digital download numbers, but that didn’t stop Inti Creates from sharing their sales numbers of Blaster Master Zero on Nintendo Switch. In this tweet from Takashi Mochizuki of the Wall Street Journal, we see that BM0 sold 80,000 units. Also, it took 6 months to develop with a team of 35 people for both the 3DS and Nintendo Switch versions.

This shows early success of the Nintendo Switch for 3rd party titles, as on the Wii U selling over 10k units for a downloadable title was considered a success story. Hopefully this trend continues as Nintendo works with smaller developers to ensure there is room for growth.
