Originally announced as a launch title for the Nintendo Switch, Nicalis has announced that The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ has officially been delayed to later in March – no firm date.
We were unable to confirm the revised release date until now (due to issues way beyond our control), but can confirm that the Release Date for The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ on Nintendo Switch has been pushed back. It’s still March, but we won’t make 3.3 (insert sad face here).
Though it has been delayed, Nicalis has shown off the NES Legend of Zelda inspired instruction booklet that will be included with the launch edition of the game.
Afterbirth+ is the second expansion to The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. In addition to adding new monsters, bosses, and items, it included a new bestiary that tracks the monsters the player has defeated. Containing the base game, Afterbirth, and Afterbirth+, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ boasts hundreds of hours of gameplay through procedurally generated dungeon rooms.
