Famitsu has hit newsstands in Japan which means we get new details about unreleased Japanese games. This month’s issue included some new details about Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers.
There is a brand new first-person mode where you play as Ryu and fight off waves of Shadaloo soldiers. Using both Joy-Con controllers, you will shoot Hadoukens and Shoryukens, and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku which are based off of your arm movement and hand positioning.
Players will be able to customize the fighters with palette swaps and can even use these custom characters online. In addition to just customizing the appearance, players will be able to gain experience and grow the characters throughout the game.
Capcom has announced that development is about 50% complete.
